The Appliance Care Company DELIVERY & INSTALLATION AGREEMENT
The Appliance Care Company (TACC) Terms and Agreements for Installation Services.
All deliveries are weather permitting.
“Drop-Off “deliveries: Your appliances will be placed outside on the ground, driveway or parking lot directly behind our truck we will not enter your dwelling.
Installation Deliveries: Must comply with signed and dated installation agreement. Customer releases Appliance Care Company from any claim Customer may hereafter have for any negligence of Appliance Care Company.
Warranty/Guarantee is void if an extension cord is used on any appliance item. Warranty/Guarantee is void if the refrigeration/freezer item is laid down in a horizontal position inside a customer’s vehicle or trailer. Please refer to the instruction manual regarding new appliance sales complete warranty coverage. It is the responsibility of the PURCHASER to be aware of the size of the merchandise and that the doors/openings at the final appliance location are large enough to accommodate the merchandise.
Appliance sales guarantee: 90 days parts & labor in-home service within the Kansas City metro area only. We will only cover all parts required for proper operation. Cosmetic and trim items are not covered. Ice makers and water dispensers are not covered.
THIS WARRANTY/GUARANTEE IS VOID IF ANY APPLIANCE IS STORED OR OPERATED OUTSIDE THE CUSTOMER’S DWELLING! No refunds or exchanges. All sales final. Service is by appointment only during normal business hours, Monday thru Friday. No exceptions. We are not responsible for damage to real or personal property. We are not responsible for loss of contents within any appliance. Claims made as a result of “Acts of God” are NOT covered by this Warranty/Guarantee! Care and usage, not in accordance with manufactures instructions, voids this Warranty/ Guarantee. Warranty/Guarantee is void if unit not stored in room temperature environment.
TACC to deliver & Install to normal connections.
TACC to haul away old units. (Old units must not be infested with bugs and/or rodents)
Old washers must not have standing water in the tub. Purchaser responsibility to remove water.
Old refrigerators must be empty with NO remaining food. Purchaser responsibility.
It is the purchaser responsibility to ensure that they have proper hoses to complete the installation.
Water fill hoses (and some drain hoses) are sold separately for brand new appliances.
Water discharge drain hoses are not always supplied with all appliances. Please confirm before purchase.
3 & 4 prong, 240 volt Dryer & Stove cords are sold separately. Installers will not hard-wire any appliance. All appliances must have a proper cord and a proper outlet for the appliance to be connected. Old damaged cords & old damaged outlets will not be connected to any appliance by our installers.
Purchaser is to provide a 4” aluminum/galvanized dryer duct/vent hose with clamps, white vinyl vent hose will not be connected to any dryer by our company.
If the purchaser is using an old dryer venting system, the venting system should be cleaned out by a professional first or damage to the new dryer may be a result of a clogged venting system which could void your warranty/guarantee.
Gas/Propane appliances must have a shut off valve 6 feet from appliance location, a stainless-steel flexible connector kit with proper fittings and proper venting supplies. All gas supplies must be provided by the purchaser.
DISHWASHER & BUILT-IN MICROWAVE INSTALLATIONS CAN TURN INTO A NIGHTMARE REAL FAST. PURCHASER UNDERSTANDS THAT WE ARE NOT PLUMBERS, ELECTRICIANS, FLOORING SPECIALISTS OR CABINET SPECIALISTS. A SPECIALIST MAY BE REQUIRED UNDER UNUSUAL CIRCUMSTANCES. OUR INSTALLERS WILL INSTALL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
PURCHASER HAS VERIFIED THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WILL FIT PROPERLY THROUGH ALL DOORS, PATHS AND WILL FIT INTO THE FINAL DESTINATION WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
We do not remove doors or move personal property.
Customer releases The Appliance Care Company from any claim Customer may hereafter have for any negligence of The Appliance Care Company.
Purchaser will have all vehicles moved and out of the way before the delivery truck arrives.
Stairs & steps must be safe, proper size, and free from debris.
All deliveries are weather permitting.
ALL ANIMALS MUST BE LOCKED UP DURING THE ENTIRE DELIVERY PROCESS!
During winter months, please wait 12 hours before operation due to freezing.
Purchaser to provide all water lines for connection to ice makers. Water line for ice makers must be pre-installed to customer water supply with shut off valve. If a proper, functioning water line is not present no connection will be made.
If any of these factors cause non-completion of the installation by the installers, the purchaser is responsible for completion of installation & the purchaser understands that we will not return to complete non-compliance of these instructions outlined in this agreement.
Built-in appliances require additional instructions and additional fees will apply, please speak to your sales associate regarding any built-in appliance.
