Our V.I.P. Guarantee, as part of the Ultimate Service Plan, will get your appliances repaired the *same day or next day guaranteed. It also covers the cost of overnight shipping if we don’t have the parts needed to make the repair in-house.

A TAPP service agreement is for one year, and is tied directly to a single address and the appliances in that home at the time the agreement was signed.  If home ownership changes, but not the appliances in the home, we will allow the previous home owner to transfer their TAPP service agreement to the new home owner, but the new home owner will be required to hold for a 45 day waiting period. The 45 day waiting period starts when The Appliance Care Company is made aware, by phone, that a transfer is desired. 

The Appliance Care Company after reviewing the claims history of the appliance, will determine if the appliance is worth repairing. If a determination is made that the appliance should be replaced, The Appliance Care Company will reimburse you based on set schedule. Click here to view schedule

TAPP pays 100% of the repair costs (parts and labor); there is no service call deductible. 

TAPP covers repairs to the appliance. Any secondary damage to food, clothes, water damages to floors, etc is not part of this program. 

The Appliance Care Company’s “Certified Master Appliance Technicians” are experts when it comes to repairing home appliances.  Unfortunately, there comes a point when the cost to repair an appliance is more than the cost of a comparable replacement appliance.  We will work with you at this point to explain all your options for appliance replacement.

The Appliance Care Company is proud to provide same or next day servicing options. 

Absolutely! When signing up for a TAPP service plan, there are options available to add more than one of the same type appliance to your account.  If you already have a TAPP service plan, and you buy a second or third appliance of the same type, you can simply log into your TAPP account and add that appliance. Each additional appliance is priced per unit.  

Never, all TAPP service calls are handled and serviced by our trained professionals. The Appliance Care Company is proud to employee “Certified Master Appliance Technicians” by the Professional Service Association. We are the only appliance service company in Kansas City with Certified Master Appliance Technicians. 

Yes, as long as you are moving within our Kansas City service area. There will be a 45 day waiting period from the date the appliance is moved into the new residence. If you are moving out of the Kansas City service area, contract buy-out options are available.  Please contact us immediately at 816-331-1515 or 913-327-1515 to confirm you are moving within our Kansas City service area or to discuss TAPP contract buy-out options. 

No, your TAPP contract is tied to a single-family dwelling address. 

TAPP is a residential service solution. If an appliance is being used at a business, or for communal use purposes, then no, the product is not eligible for TAPP.

However, if the product is commercial grade but is only being used in a single-family dwelling, then yes, you can cover it with TAPP.

Landlords – We would love to provide TAPP coverage plans for each of your residential property addresses. 

The manufacturer typically only covers defects in materials and workmanship for a short time frame starting on the date you purchased the product.  TAPP goes above and beyond adding protection after the manufacturer’s warranty expires and covering failures due to normal wear and tear, as well as additional benefits specific to your covered product.

TAPP is considered long-term peace of mind solution for your home appliances. There is a 45 day waiting period from the date of purchase of contract to when you can use it’s services. If you have an appliance needing service before this 45 day waiting period has expired, please contact us immediately at 816-331-1515 or 913-327-1515 and we can service your appliances under our normal service conditions.
